Internet speed

My contract for 900 mbs down and 25 up recently expired. I signed a new contract for 1200mbs down and 35 up. I am getting the 35 upload speed but my down load speed still remains at 900 mbs on my PC. The rest of my hardwired devices are close to that. WiFi is so so adequate.

A tech visit was scheduled and everything checked out. The tech said I needed to get cat 6 ethernet cable which I did and nothing has changed. My PC got 930 download with the 900 contract and is still getting 930 with the 1200 contract. I lease the white modem from X-Finity. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
