Internet Speed
Someone please give my a logical explanation for this. I had until today a 2GB Internet plan. I was getting download speeds in the 900Mbps range up until about a month ago. Then for whatever reason it slowed down to between 500 and 600Mbps. Since my router and computer are only able to reach 1GB I decided to call and see what other plans were available. So In switched to a 1GB plan. They refreshed my router I assume to activate the new plan and now I back to getting over 900 Mbps download.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
• As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
• An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
