iPhone 16 pro max won’t connect to XFi pods on xB8

II have the same issue as everyone else. iPhone 16 Pro won’t connect to XFi pods since I got the new XB8 modem. Only when I forget the network and reconnect, it will connect to the closest pod. But as soon as I get near the gateway, it connects to the gateway and never goes back to the pod. I’ve already switched to WPA 3 Personal Transition, and that still made no difference. I’ve been dealing with this for over a year, searching forums. This is extremely disappointing and has made me hate my phone and service, giving me the worst possible experience when I’m at home.

@user_2lblcv  follow every step of this, to the letter. If you skip any of the steps, it will not work properly. Let me know how it goes after that.

Good morning, @user_2lblcv have you tried forgetting your home wireless network on your iPhone, then rebooting both the gateway and xFi pods?

Same issue and like author above, have tried the Reddit reset process referenced above multiple times.  Not an issue for my other Apple devices (Macbook Pro and iPad), but my new iPhone 16 Pro won't connect to my Xfinity pods except with full network settings reset, and then won't connect again if connection moves to Xfinity main router when I'm near that.  Frustrating for sure.

@user_mdprju The steps outlined in the Reddit post above is the solution for this issue. If you are still facing the issue we recommend forgetting the network and resetting both the modem and the XFi pods and try again.

@user_mdprju Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you. As frustrating as it may be, you may need to follow the entire process, exactly as written, more than once, until you get it working. Good luck and I hope you get it resolved.
