Issues with self-bought modem

Hello,

I bought a Motorola MB 8600 (supports up to 1000 down and 700 up) and set it up recently using the Xfinity app. My plan is half a gig down and when I tested my Internet with my previous XB7 gateway, it was 550 down and 100 up as expected. However, once I installed the new modem. I started getting speeds of 6 to 700 down and five up, and I tested with multiple devices.  I am just wondering if anybody knows what is happening and how I can fix it. I want it to be according with my plan.

Good evening @user_cgq7ii. Can you confirm if those tests were done on a wired or wireless connection?

The Motorola MB8600 doesn't support the 'next gen' upload speeds I don't believe. There are few non-Xfinity devices that do.

I had a similar experience, 5 d 21 up. in my case I cold booted the modem and router and restored my connectivity.
