Logs - US profile assignment change

Hello,

My cable modem keeps logging this error quite frequently, sometimes every hour, and sometimes every 5 minutes.  It alternates between:

US profile assignment change. US Chan ID: 41; Previous Profile: 12; New Profile: 11

Whenever the cable modem logs this, it seems to coincide with some packet loss.  Connection, signal strength and SNR all look good as far as I can tell and within spec.  I have also tried changing cables, splitter, and even a different cable modem, but that error continues to repeat.  Just wanted to check and see if this is a common thing for a cable modem to continue switching the upstream profile, or if I need to have Xfinity investigate further:

porkapatamus Thanks for reaching out about the errors in your logs. I would be happy to see what I can see on our end that may be causing the problem. 

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

@XfinityEricB​ I'm having a similar issue, my new-ish Arris s34 is throwing a similar log list, my unifi system is confirming packet loss and even entire drops of service signal daily that seems to align. The log entires do not always cause a service interruption, but they commonly align with the frequent ones I'm seeing.

Hello, @user_dlu502 thank you for taking time to reach out over Xfinity Forums and appreciate you editing the MAC information out of the public post. I'd definitely like to investigate further, working from home myself I know the importance of having your home network performing optimally.

- Have you noticed the issue happening around the same time frame in the screenshots on a regular basis? 

-Have you checked to see if there has been any reported issues when you see the packet loss, using the Xfinity App or Xfinity status center: https://www.xfinity.com/support/status?linkId=93148137?
