Lost of internet connection

The past 3 or 4 storm in my area have caused an internet outage. What I don’t understand is the delay in the disruption? During the storms, my internet and connection maintain and are fine. But it seems the day after the storms is when I lose my connection. Why is this? I work from home so having a reliable and stable connection is importance. I completely understand this happening sometimes. But now it just seems anytime there is a storm in the forecast, I can expect an outage.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I can absolutely see how frustrating and disruptive this must be, especially when you rely on a stable connection to work from home. It’s completely reasonable to expect consistency, and the pattern you’ve noticed with interruptions occurring after storms rather than during them is definitely worth looking into.

What you’re describing could be related to delayed impacts on the infrastructure, for example, water intrusion, fallen debris, or equipment stress that doesn’t immediately cause a failure but leads to issues once the storm has passed. These kinds of delayed effects can sometimes be harder to detect and resolve quickly.

We really value your feedback, and I want to make sure this gets the attention it deserves. We would love to take a look at your account and make sure everything is resovlved. Please feel free to send us your full name and complete address via our direct message:
