Microsoft Teams Error Message - Hold on. Looks like Something went wrong. We're trying to get you back into the meeting.

For about a month, I have experienced this issue in almost every Microsoft Teams meeting I have joined (I work from home).  I'm in the meeting, I suddenly lose my connection and get a window that says " Hold on.  Looks like Something went wrong.  We're trying to get you back into the meeting."  After about 20-30 seconds, I am returned to the meeting.  This is very disruptive, I rely on xFinity for my job so I really need a solution to this problem.

Hello @user_4wyux2 Thanks for making a post here on Forums. Sorry to hear you are having issues with the teams meetings. Have you noticed any issues with anything else you have connected? Have you ran any speed tests or other troubleshooting on your end so far?

Hi Matthew, I experienced the issue today while in Teams and attempted to access a website while the issue was occurring. I was not able to access the website so this issue does not appear to be specific to Teams. What other speed tests or troubleshooting would you recommend?

user_4wyux2 Thanks for getting back to us. Did the issue happen while you were in a Teams meeting or anything like that or do you just have Teams up and then tried to access a website?

@XfinityPeterH Hi Peter - the issue happened while I was in a Teams meeting.  This happens pretty consistently - every meeting I am in, there will be one moment where I lose my connectivity for about 20 seconds.  On a couple of occasions, I tried accessing a website while this was happening and was not able to.  I purchased a Wifi booster thinking that would help, but the issue persists even after the Wifi booster was installed.

user_4wyux2 Got it. Might be a few things going on. How are you connecting? (WiFi or Ethernet) You might also need more speed (Broadband).

I am connecting via Wifi.  The Gateway I use says it has a speed of 1300 mbps. I've tested it frequently and it always says it's operating at 110%+ of the plan speed.  Also, this has been happening for about 6 weeks so I'm not sure what would've changed to require the need for more speed.

@user_4wyux2 to isolate the issue are you able to connect your work device to the back of the modem with an ethernet cable? This will help determine if you're having issues with the WiFi connection or if it is a signal issue at the modem.
