Modem Connection Issues

Out of the blue my Internet went out. There is no service outage in my area. I restarted my modem did all the troubleshooting steps. I also attempted to reset my modem. Now it’s cycles between flashing orange and then flashing green and nothing is happening. Is there something I need to do to reconnect since I reset the modem? I went to the app and put in activate equipment and I get an error “sorry that didn’t go as planned”. I have a service appointment scheduled however it’s not for over 24 hrs. My home has Google Nest thermostat so I’m unable to use it. It’s cold and really need heat and access to WiFi to do so. 

is there anything I can do to reconnect after resetting modem??

user_141eho Thanks for reaching out for help with the service issue. Sounds like you would have already had the tech visit at this time. Was the tech able to assist you with how the service went down in the first place while there?
