Modem is rebooting itself, connection dropping
I have the Arris SB8200 modem and for the past week to week and a half my connection is dropping. I see the modem is rebooting itself and when I look at the logs on the modem the errors are in the THOUSANDS (correctable and uncorrectable). This is the 3rd time this has happened with xfinity. Last two times they made me do the whole rebooting, then sent someone to the house to change all the wires.. In the end, the only way to fix it was to have someone go up the pole and fix the drop. Is there any way we can just shortcut right to that part? Several of the drops at the pole are bad because the last technician tried them and finally found

one that worked. Now that one, 3 years later, is also bad.
