My Amana smart thermostat intermittently drops WIFI connection.

My Amana smart thermostat intermittently drops WIFI connection. It worked fine for one year. I had a new thermostat installed and it still drops connectivity, so I don't think it is the thermostat. After it disconnects, it sometimes automatically reconnects itself, but most of the time I have to reboot the thermostat or manually login to the network on the thermostat itself. The part number of the thermostat is ATAT-CWE-BL-A. What can you recommend trying to resolve this?

The thermostat is probably located in an area with a marginal signal.  You might want to consider moving your gateway to a more central location in the home.

Thank you for the reply, I ran the network test and it shows strong WIFI to the thermostat.

Have you tried changing the batteries in the thermostat?

This thermostat gets its power from the blower unit.

Hi user_tziwe9! Thanks for visiting our Xfinity Forum and we appreciate you being a customer with us. I am sorry to hear about the connection issues you've been experiencing with your Amana smart thermostat. My team is here to support you!

For troubleshooting purposes, have you noticed these intermittent Wi-Fi connection drops occurring on any other devices in your home? Have you tried manually rebooting the modem to see if that helps correct this on your end?

Unplug the power cable from the back of the modem, wait 10-15 secs, plug the power cable back in, and allow 10 mins or less for the modem to reboot.
