New equipment not working

I recently received new equipment for my internet service and it would not work when I set it up. No lights came on the equipment. I plugged my old equipment back in and it worked as usual. I do not want a technician to come to my house this time. How do I return this new non working equipment that was sent to me?

user_3w6g9o You can easily drop off the equipment at one of our Xfinity Stores. Our team would be happy to investigate what was happening with the hardware, and that things are working properly for the location.
