New Pro WiFi Extender won’t activate

My new Pro WiFi Extender has failed activation twice. I restarted my XB8 gateway between attempts as instructed. The extender powers up and cycles normally, but activation fails. Xfinity Assistant and phone support keep looping me through automated troubleshooting. I need an Xfinity employee to check whether the extender is provisioned correctly to my account.
