No internet

Internet has been down ALL DAY! Supposedly a powers issue I. Our area but we have had power at our home all day. What is the problem???

user_vp6b3y  Thank you so much for your post for help with the interruption in your area. Our network and equipment use commercial power and in most cases when we have issues with the power you as residential customers are not impacted by the same issues. We would work with the local utility company to help get our power issue resolved as soon as possible in some cases that may be delayed if permits are needed to complete repairs. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and recommend you keep an eye out for updates in the Xfinity status center or using your Xfinity app.

I understand that some problems are outside Xfinity’s control, but we were w/o internet service for nearly 12 hours. It would seem a credit for lack of service is appropriate in this situation.
