Outage

There was an internet outage Saturday in my area. After they got it back up, my service stopped working and I had a flashing yellow light on my gateway…I was sent a new gateway, but the same thing is still happening. It has to be something outside of my home,

Book a tech visit to investigate. 1-800-comcast. Bear in mind that if the premises facing techs can not find or fix a problem at your home, it is they who are responsible for escalating it up to their line / network / maintenance dept. techs. The problem may lie beyond your home in the local neighborhood infrastructure somewhere but it is their S.O.P. to start at the home. And if the problem is found to be on their side of the demarcation point, there will not be any charge.

Hey user_ts575v wanted to follow up and check if you have been able to have a tech out to your home for the connection issues? What expert @EG  suggested with scheduling a tech out to you is the best step. Are you still experiencing trouble at this time?
