Outages Every Day

Since the hurricane, a year and a half ago, I've had outages regularly. Almost every day now. Anybody have a clue as to what's going on? Honestly, it feels like the late 90's and the pathetic service I received from their phone service. Seriously beginning to consider some alternatives.

First. When these outages occur, are they being officially indicated with any info about them here ?;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Or you can use their Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

Honestly, it seems to happen in the mid to late afternoon hours. I'm usually at work then. I usually get a text from them stating "they know it's out" kinda thing. It may be out for 30 minutes to 4 hours.

I should clarify a little bit here. Before the hurricane I rarely had an outage. For the first six - seven months after the hurricane was pretty good. Somewhere in the middle of 2025, I started having what's continuing to now. They seem to know quickly that there's a problem. I just don't understand why there's a seemingly regular outage.

user_r091aq Hi there! Thanks for using our Forums and we are sorry to hear that your service has been up and down recently. We are happy to look into the account to see if we can notice any trends or issues on our end that we can address.
Please send us a DM with your name and address to get started. To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:
 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send it
