Packet loss every 11 minutes 30 seconds, gateway clean, unresolved since July

My internet drops packets every 11 and a half minutes. This has been going on since July. Three reports so far and nothing has been fixed.

What happens: every 11 min 30 sec, latency goes from 32ms to over 2500ms and packets drop for 5-10 seconds. It repeats about 5 seconds later, then recovers. Like clockwork.

I logged it for 50 minutes on 9/8/26, pinging three targets once per second at the same time:

  My gateway (10.0.0.1)         3001 pings, 0 lost
  Cloudflare (1.1.1.1)          3009 pings, 15 lost, worst 2589ms
  Game server (8.42.17.142)     2977 pings, 44 lost, worst 2632ms

My gateway never dropped a single packet out of 3001. Both outside targets went bad at the same timestamps. So the problem starts past my gateway.

Drop times, 9/8/26 EDT:

  19:43:28
  19:54:59
  20:06:29
  20:17:59

That is 11m31s, 11m30s, 11m30s apart. Congestion does not run on a schedule. Something on your side is on a timer. Please check your CMTS logs against those times.

Already ruled out, so please don't ask me to redo them:

- Not my PC. On 8/22 I ran the same test on a separate Raspberry Pi at the same time. Both machines dropped in the same seconds while the gateway answered fine on both.
- Not wifi. Wired ethernet, 1 Gbps link (have tried multiple cables)
- Not my router. The gateway is clean through every event.
- Not one website. Cloudflare and an unrelated game server fail together.
- Not the wall coax. I tightened it on 7/9 and nothing changed, so the fault is past that connector.

On 7/9 I caught hop 2 (10.112.159.194) at 429ms and 410ms during two events. On 8/22 hop 3 (68.86.145.57) dropped 2 of 3 probes mid-burst. Hop 1 was under 1ms every time.

What I need:

1. Upstream SNR and MER per channel
2. Uncorrectable codeword counts, not just corrected
3. T3 and T4 timeout counts
4. A line tech to check the drop cable, outside splitters, and the tap
5. Check whether anything on my node runs on an 11m30s cycle I have continuous logs and can run a capture during a call. The drops come every 11 and a half minutes, so you can watch one
happen live.
