Packet loss spikes every few minutes

Every few minutes our packet loss spikes. The spike only lasts for a few seconds so its only noticeable when on Zoom calls or playing games but when it does happen its incredibly annoying. We had a technician come out a couple weeks ago and he replaced a wire coming into the house which helped the issue for a while but now it is back.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_o5dn1f. I will be happy to look into any service issue on your internet service from here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

A tech came to our house a couple days ago and replaced two unnecessary splitters that had been installed with coaxial cable couplers and that's solved the issue so far.
