ping spikes seen when games reconnecting and Zoom freezes

When I take work zoom calls from home, Zoom freezes regularly, more so if video is enabled. When playing video games on a personal desktop connected via ethernet cable, the game frequently tries to reconnect to the server. This started happening about 3 weeks ago. 

I had two comcast technicians come checkout my home network, but they didn't find any issue. First technician replaced the router I think. Second technician ran bunch of tests with his equipment but doesn't see any issue. I am not sure if they have a packet loss or ping test. I noticed that whenever the game tries to reconnect there is a very big spike in ping on packetstats.com. Here is a screenshot:
