Poor service after outage.

There was an xfinity outage last week. Since then I am getting poor internet service. On testing the speed I am getting high jitter and sometimes high ping. It is hard to run any applications that need real-time connection.

I have tried to reboot the modem and wifi multiple times with no improvement.

What can I do?

harsh251 Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your connection concerns after the interruption in your area. I would recommend checking out our Xfinity forums troubleshooting tips to start. Check out the section about your signal levels. You can share that with us here, just make sure to block out or remove your IP or MAC address.

The issue seems to have improved on its own. Probably something on the Xfinity backend. 

I will monitor for few more days before doing any troubleshooting.
