Poor Upload Speeds
Hi everyone
I am hoping that someone at Xfinity will be able to pickup on this.
Long story short, I moved to a community with brand new infra(cabling) and Xfinity. I used to have fiber and was surprised that my gigaplan only gave me 20mpbs
I have spent over two hours with CS and a service tech come and tell me, yup that is what you are going to get for upload speeds.
I work from home and had equal gigaspeed upload and download.
Is there anything that can be done??

Our team is unable to see when an address will be updated, user_n1qi8o. This link shows more about the Next Generation Network construction. If you have a mobile number or personal email address on your account, you will get notifications 1 week in advance of the work, the day of, and the day after. We are working street by street until every address is upgraded.

Good afternoon, user_n1qi8o! Thanks for being a part of the Xfinity family! We are working on our Next Generation or Enhanced Speed upgrades and have been for over a year now. When this upgrade comes to your address, the upload speed will increase. If you currently have 20 Mbps, that will go to 100 Mbps after the upgrade. Past that, we are then upgrading for X Class Speeds which will be symmetrical meaning Gigabit will be 1000 Mbps upload and download.
For the interim, we have our Gigabit Extra package with speeds up to 1200 Mbps/35 Mbps. That could boost your upload speed and help. We would be happy to take a look at this and get a quote put together. <Edited to provide DM instructions>
