Port Forwarding Frustrations
For the life of me, I cannot get the Xfinity app to port forward right. Every time I try to open a port, it opens it for the IP 10.0.0.160, and upon checking https://www.yougetsignal.com/ to see if its open, it is not. It also tells me my external IP is a totally different one to the one the port is supposedly opened on. I have tried pretty much every work around for this issue I found on these forums, and nothing seems to work. I've factory reset my network settings, tried releasing and renewing my IP, a Reddit post had me forget my device on the app and reintroduce it, all to no avail. I seriously don't know what to do to get it working, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings, @GamingGorilla! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with this port forwarding request, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
Can you confirm you have the IP address set to use DHCP instead of a static IP address, and your target device is using an IPv4 address to connect to the network?

I am also stuck in an incredibly frustrating loop where I am attempting to access port fowarding settings, but my router admin panel leads me to the xfinity website, which insists that I use the xfinity app to access the Wifi tab where I am supposed to be able to click "view wifi equipment" but there is NO OPTION to be found. What is happening? Why can't I access port forwarding settings?
