Port Forwarding Issue

I'm currently on xFi with the XB7. I'm trying to port forward for gaming purposes, but it forces me to use the app. My PC does not show up on the app as an online device, but on my PC I can see through the gateway that it is showing up as Offline. I am connected via Ethernet, and have attempted resetting, relogging, and pretty much all forms of troubleshooting. I have set my network adapter to use IPv4 instead of IPv6, any idea what I could do? Would be a huge bummer if I can't just port forward in general to enjoy my hobby.
