Setup for these devices is fairly straightforward. I was able to get mine set up in a few minutes. You just need to open your Xfinity app and go to the "Services" tab at the bottom of the screen (2nd tab from the left) and scroll down to where it says "Activate More Devices." Click on that, then select "Pro Wi-Fi Extender" from the list, and follow the instructions. Every time I try to connect the pro wifi extender through the app it tells me it’s having trouble. I’ve restarted the modem, the wifi extender, updated my app, and even tried in several spots around the house. I also double checked to make sure the pro wifi extender is compatible with the xb7 modem (which it is). I’ve also ensured that bridge mode is off and that the connection to our wifi is protected. I’m running out of ideas, is there anything I can do to set this up?
