Promised 1000/1000 Mbps, but Xfinity shows my plan as 1000/35 Mbps

I was promised 1000 Mbps download and 1000 Mbps upload when I signed up for Xfinity service. I later contacted Xfinity support, and the representative again confirmed that my service should include 1000 Mbps upload.

However, a technician who visited my home told me that symmetrical gigabit service is currently not available in my area.

I have now received an Xfinity speed test email that explicitly shows:

Plan Download Speed: 1000 Mbps
Plan Upload Speed: 35 Mbps

Actual speeds were approximately 1153/38 Mbps.

At this point, this does not appear to be a modem or Wi-Fi troubleshooting issue. Xfinity's own system indicates that my service is provisioned as 1000/35 Mbps.

Could an Xfinity representative please review the original sales records and my previous support records to determine why I was sold and subsequently assured of 1000/1000 Mbps service when the service currently available at my address appears to be 1000/35 Mbps?

I would also like to know what resolution Xfinity can provide for this discrepancy.
