Hello, @user_oa91yz! To help us narrow down what might be going on, could you share a bit more detail? What color is the light on your Xfinity gateway/router, and is it solid or flashing? Have you recently updated your network name or password, or are you looking for the default Wi-Fi name printed on the label (usually located on the bottom or back of the gateway)? Do any other nearby networks show up in your devices' Wi-Fi settings, or is the Wi-Fi list completely blank?
In the meantime, here are a few quick troubleshooting steps that often resolve this issue:
- Power Cycle the Gateway: Unplug the power cord from the back of the router/gateway, wait 60 seconds, and plug it back in. Allow 5 to 10 minutes for all indicators to turn solid.
- Check the Wi-Fi Broadcast Status: If you use the Xfinity app, sign in to check if the Wi-Fi network broadcasting (SSID visibility) is enabled or if the gateway needs to complete its activation sequence.
- Connect via Ethernet (if available): If you have a computer or device with an Ethernet port, try connecting directly to one of the LAN ports on the back of the gateway with an Ethernet cable to confirm whether the internet connection itself is working.
Once you let us know what lights you see on the gateway, we'll be glad to help you get this resolved!
