Router Resetting, 2.4ghz unusable.

About once a month or so my Router/Wi-Fi/IDEK resets it's self and wipes out my information I have set entirely. When I re-set up my information the 2.4ghz band is unusable entierly.


Last time this happened I dealt with Customer Service "Tech Expert" on the phone who had no idea what they were even doing honestly, to no avail. What fixed my issue? No clue. After electing to have a technician come and take a look I received a text, three days after my inital report, the morning that the tech was supposed to come, to tell me they had found and fixed the issue. I don't know why it took three days but I do not want to deal with this again if I do not have to.


If there is ANYTHING I can do without involving the "tech experts" (who couldn't even tell me why the things they were telling me to do would help,) I would be forever greatful. At this point I just want to switch companies! Or at least have to break down and buy ethernet cables for my Laptop and PS4 which will just be more annoying wires.
