set daily usage

How do I set a limit on daily usage? We had a cloud app over-use data and I want to make sure I catch it next time this happens before we use all of our data. Thanks for any assistance.

Blues123 Hi there! To set a daily usage limit for a person on Xfinity, you can use the Active Time Limit feature:

Select the person you want to set a limit for
Select the gear icon in the top-right corner
Select Active Time Limit from the Settings page
Choose Weekdays or Weekends
Adjust the bar to set the active time limit

The daily limit will start at 12:00 AM each day. By default, devices will automatically pause when the active time limit is reached.

Using the Xfinity app:
1. Open the app and tap the Account tab
2. Select WiFi > View WiFi equipment > Advanced settings > Data Usage
Visiting the Devices page on xfinity.com:
1. Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password
2. Click the Internet tab under Your services at the top of the site
