Slow Internet Speeds, Download Speeds and random drops

I am currently paying for 1GB download speeds and for the past month I have been lucky if the speed reaches 15mbps. I have tried troubleshooting my Gateway multiple times and the Xfinity assistant has been zero help with setting up a technician appointment to see they can fix our issue. It is getting so out of hand that we are nearing the decision of moving providers since fiber has been introduced to our neighborhood recently.

To get started can you send us a DM with your full name and service address? 
To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:
 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging 
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send it
