Slow speeds supposed to get 2000 MBPS only getting approximatly 65 MBPS

I'm not getting the speed I am paying for, If i am only going to get the slower speed I want to down grade the account. Last week I attempted to get this fixed at that time I was getting approximately 250 MBPS before I upgraded I was getting 650 MBPS, and now it is at 65 MBPS. I seems impossible to get someone on the phone to address this issue, and when I do it only gets worse.

user_6faecy Thanks for reaching out to let us know about the issue! Xfinity offers some great troubleshooting tools in the Xfinity app, you can also resolve most issues by bower cycling the modem. Please let me know if nether of those options resolve the issue,

It's been restarted numerous times by myself and Xfinity, I was on the phone with them yesterday and they tested and reset it as well, what in the app should I try?

I don't see anything more that has not already been done, today a tech came out to see what he could do, he moved the modem closer which helped a little bit, but nothing even close to what we are suppose to see. I'm going to try with a cat 6 cable it will be here in a couple of days, I doubt it will give me the 2000 Mbps I am supposed to be getting, i doubt Xfinity can even supply those results. I will probably down grade the account, since when I paid less i got faster speeds.

@user_6faecy Thanks for the update and letting us know a tech came out and the speeds improved.

What speeds are you getting now?

Can you tell us more about your setup?

When you run your speed tests are you on Wi-Fi?

Do you have additional devices connected such as a separate router,, amplifiers, splitters, Wi-Fi extender etc?

Are the slow speeds present on multiple devices?

I'm getting around 330Mbps as of now and yes it is on Wifi, my Wifi is capable of 1.5 Gbps the wired connection is capable of 2.5 Gbps, I have an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.70GHz, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, Nvidia RTX5070 12Gb DDR7 RAM, and Windows 11 home. We do have a separate Netgear router connected, no other devices, I only use the Xfinity router. It is slow on every device and those are only used occasionally.
