split bandwidths

I need to split the bandwidths because I have a device that is only compatible with 2.4 band.  I have the X-B8T modem and I have the app downloaded.  I have looked for wifi details in the wifi tab and they aren't there.  I found the split band option (not recommended) it says and I toggle that on and it does nothing.  Help please

@user_uxdsqi Have you tried selecting the Xfinity Wireless Gateway under the Xfinity Devices on the WiFi tab?

@XfinityBradM​ thanks. I was actually able to do this on my desk top but not through the app like everyone was telling me at the store. I logged in to my account and kept hunting til I found the ‘edit WiFi’ tab. Not sure I could find it again lol but I was able to find a split band option through that and got it all working.
