user_849987 I appreciate you taking the time to follow up, and provide the details you have attempted to reset the equipment. I also understand wanting to know why the message was populating in the first place. After investigating I found this great Xfinity Forums article that had some great information.
The message is being received as there is a syncing issue between the device and the home network. Based on the information you provided, the message went away when the device was able to sync up properly. While reading over the post, I noticed the OP mention that after the cleared they were also able to utilize the Xfinity App to troubleshoot.
- Do you now see the option to troubleshoot following these steps: Troubleshoot Device button in Xfinity app (WiFi tab > View WiFi equipment > Storm-Ready WiFi > Troubleshoot Device)?
