Sudden and Suspicious Data Usage Spike
Four days ago, I received an email that I had used 75% of my data allowance for the month (1.2 Tb). This was strange, as my usage habits hadn't changed and I've never received this kind of notification before. I've been a customer for three years, so clearly something was unusual.
I spoke to customer service the next day and they didn't offer a solution-- they just applied a promotion and assured me that I wouldn't exceed the cap. Now, three days later, I've gone over the cap despite moderate data usage. I've changed my password, so I don't know what else I can do on my end.

@user_0427mi Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I definitely understand the concern if nothing has changed, yet you've gone past that data threshold. If you are using a Xfinity modem, you are able to view what devices are connected to your internet. Have you checked to make sure that there are no unauthorized devices connecting to your internet?
