Terrible Upload Speed

When I got my gigabit last month I was getting 1100 down 24 up and was pretty happy. The last couple nights my upload has gone to 1-3 and is knocking several devices I run offline. Download occasionally dropped to the 100s but seems to be back to 1000 tonight - upload still awful.

Thinking of going back to Fidium. If they consider me a new customer I can get rock solid 300/300 for $35/mo. Anyone else experience slow to zero upload speeds and fix it? Already reset modem/router (Arris G36), hardwired connection.

PaladinNH Hi there! I understand your concern with your speeds and would love to help. Have you attempted any of the troubleshooting steps via our awesome Xfinity app? This is one of my favorite tools and best place to start. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/internet-connectivity-troubleshooting

Xfinity does not believe in higher upload speeds for residential because obviously we are not important.   They cap it at 35 mbps.   More than likely if you have alot of devices and or you have cameras also on your network you might be trying to pull more upload than what they supply which leads to lag and devices being knocked offline.    As far as right now xfinity has no intention on raising upload speeds and are trying to get people to pay for the business plan which you would have to pay $4000 for construction , 500 for install fee and 300+ bucks a month just to get a higher tier than their 1.3 gbps download + 35 mbps upload in my area.

@user_pv8rg1 I guess that you've not heard of the new Enhanced upload/Mid-split implementation they are doing.
