Traceroute

The second address in a traceroute is 100 93.70.131, is that correct or has my parents network been hijacked by hackers?

user_llpi3m I'm sorry that happened to your parents network and the best option would be to work with our Security Assurance team. I know how concerning it can be when network safety could be impacted, so please reach out to the CSA team for help with your findings.

@user_llpi3m

That is their CRAN (Converged Regional Area Network) routing infrastructure. It's normal. The number of hops is no cost to you as it's not adding to the latency. The only drawback are more potential points of failure.
