WiFi keeps dropping 10+ times a day for months now. I can’t deal with this. Can’t even get a real person to help. Xifinity, you should be ashamed.

First. When these outages occur are they being officially indicated here with any info about them ?;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.


Or you can use the Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps 

Second. As a test, does a computer / device that is hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?


With this test, we are trying to isolate this down to being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system which would of course affect both. It's a good first step in troubleshooting before proceeding any further.

Hello user_6e5kkx, an intermittent connection issue like that would have by running up the walls, so I can only imagine what you've been going through. I'd love a chance to help get this figured out and work with you more. I would like to make sure we test the full scope of this. Are you able to try a connection with an ethernet directly connected to your modem or gateway? If so, do you experience the same intermittency?
