Unable to access Youtube or Google Home services through Xfinity Gateway

This has been going on for 4+ weeks - initially, I couldnt access any Yahoo service (From Mail to Sports), but that resolved itself after 1-2 days.

Now I am unable to access YouTube from any device (tried multiple browsers on multiple devices) and my Google Home devices are unable to connect to the service.

When I disable Wifi, my mobile devices are able to access Youtube using 5G.

Any thoughts (or suggestions how to get a human at xFinity!!) would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Paul.

Hey @user_ls8b5i thanks for visiting the Xfinity Community Forums for help with your devices connecting. Are you still experiencing issues at this time? If so, let's check out your firewall settings. You can see a detailed step-by-step here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/advanced-xfinity-wireless-gateway-features

Depending on your current gateway you can adjust the firewall security as well. Please let us know if this helps!

It magically started working (with no changes from my side) about 3 hours after I posted the original message here........which is some timing, seeing as the issue had been ongoing for 4 weeks.

And I had already checked Firewall settings, and they were set to Typical (for IPv6) and Minimum (for IPv4), so I dont believe that was the issue.

Cheers,

Paul.
