Unusual traffic from my computer network

We're getting the below message on one of my husband's laptops. I compared the IP address and it looks like it's being routed through New York and we don't live in New York. We are not using a VPN, the cache was cleared, and there are no extensions being used except AdBlock. How do we fix this issue?

Hello @user_85dc3e, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. I understand your concern about the unusual traffic on your computer network. If you're using your own equipment, have you tried rebooting both the modem and the router? If you're using a Xfinity modem, have you rebooted that device?

Good afternoon user_nkxo74. What traffic are you seeing? Is it concerns with ip address, or devices connecting to your network? We are happy to assist further.
