Usage meter appears despite having "unlimited data" on Gig Plan

I signed up for new service today in which the store was helpful to sign me up but when I look in my account a 1.2TB usage meter appears. I was told my plan includes Unlimited Data but that seems not to be the case here, Was I had at the store or what is going on. It even showed unlimited data to me at the time of signing up.
