When you notice latency, are you connected to the internet wirelessly or over an ethernet connection? What is the make and model of your modem? Are you using a separate router alongside your modem? 

 

Have you tried using the Xfinity App to run a health test? You can find instructions to do that here and please let me know what recommendations you see.
