VPN connectivity drops at least once an hour?

Paying for 1GB speeds, MY VPN connection that I have to use for work drops all the time, on the bad ones my software loses its license and forces me to close what I am working on on, I see other posts commenting about packet loss but no response from xfinity so far? I bought my own router/ modem to try and fix this but currently using the router / modem they sent me, my router came in a box filled with news paper and was obviously used and abused.

We would be happy to look into this with you @Design2Render I depend on the internet for work and I understand the importance of staying connected.

Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
