WiFi calling

WiFi calling is NOT working!  Works at my parents house that’s not XFINITY.

Apple and Samsung phones have issues.  It’s been over four years like this.  Need answers now!

Missed an emergency call because of this!

@user_zs85st   I can see why this would be especially impactful, particularly if you've missed an important or emergency call. WiFi Calling should work regardless of whether you're connected to a Xfinity WiFi network or another provider's internet service, as long as the feature is properly enabled and supported on the device and account. I just want to confirm with you are you using Xfinity Mobile? Have you checked to confirm your devices were up-to-date?

@XfinityKam do not use XFinity mobile.  At my previous address, XFinity was used and no issues.

The only difference is that the cellular coverage in this neighborhood is terrible.  With ATT and Verizon.  If that helps…

@user_zs85st  If you're not using Xfinity Mobile and WiFi Calling isn't working on your device, we'd like to take a closer look. WiFi Calling depends on several factors, including your mobile carrier's WiFi Calling settings, device configuration, and the quality of the WiFi connection. Can you explain then when it isnt working? are you connected to Xfinity wifi when it happens?

always connected to the Wi-Fi when I walk through the front door of the house. When trying to make a call, there is no dial tone know anything being displayed. Must try numerous time before it even accepts, and even then the quality of the call is terrible

@user_zs85st From what you're describing especially the missing display this sounds like an issue with your phone provider and not Xfinity related, Have you tried working with them?

It’s not the phone nor ATT.  I’m positive there’s a setting missing through the router.

When dialing, just simply nothing or called failed.
