Wifi connected but not secure

Hello, my name is Chris and I am responding to the reply I received from JustinM regarding my question to the xfinity community forum. I would just like to mention that I am not usually someone who ask questions or post comments on any type of online platform. However, i am a loyal xfinity gold member, and I have been signed up for xfinity home internet as well as my mobile phone services for nearly 5 years.

 Of home internet service and just over one year of mobile phone service. In response to the answer to my question that I posted concerning my xfinity internet security, the answer is yes. I have three separate Wi-Fi connections that appear when I log on to my wifi. All of my wifi connections, including my home internet wifi, all indicate that I have a strong security connection, EXCEPT for the one that is xfinitywifi. This Wi-Fi connection does not have a small lock icon. All of the other wifi connections that up here, when scanned all have the security icon lock symbol next to the wifi username. I have tried several times to go into my xfinity application and see if I can correct the problem. However, I have been unsuccessful. Whenever I try to edit that particular xfinitywifi username, the application seems to reject any attempts to edit that particular Wi-Fi username. I have even tried to delete it by selecting the option that says forget located at the bottom right corner of the dialogue box. I am not exactly sure if I may have inadvertently created or assigned that Wi-Fi username without a password. When I initially set up my internet modem about 4 years ago. I cannot exactly recall when I discovered that this xfinitywifi address appeared without the lock icon. I am concerned about this matter because as I understand it, anyone can connect to this Wi-Fi without any password. So it is connected but not secured.
