Wi-Fi Connection Issues with Router
I am experiencing issues with the Wi-Fi connection from the router I installed. Here are the details of the problem:
1. After setting up the router and enabling Wi-Fi, the connection appeared intermittently. The Wi-Fi signal keeps disconnecting, and the downtime is longer than the uptime.
2. This issue persists across all my devices, including my TV, laptop, and phone.
3. I tested a wired connection by directly connecting my TV to the router with an Ethernet cable. With this setup, the internet works perfectly on the TV without any interruptions.
4. However, the problem with Wi-Fi remains unresolved. My laptop and phone still experience unstable connections, with frequent disconnections.
5. Based on these observations, I suspect that the router may not be broadcasting Wi-Fi signals properly, but I am not sure if this is the root cause.
Could you please advise on how I should address this situation? Do I need to adjust the router settings, or is there a possibility of a hardware issue with the router?
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

I am having the same issues. I upgraded to the gateway because of overages and my wifi devices disconnect. as a test used my laptop that I use for work - I connect directly via ethernet to the modem and I experience no issues but when I get on the wifi again the intermittent wifi drops continue. All my other wifi devices experience the same issue as OP explains on his post.
Note this did not happen when I was using my own equipment but forced to upgrade due to overage fees.
