wifi constantly interutpts

wifi is constantly going in/out for two weeks. I have unplugged router, restarted, turned off phones, re started. Continues to be an issue.

With permission we borrowed our neighbors wifi to work. We are close enough that it works and we do not get interrupted.

Can xfinity verify that the house is getting a secure connection? Where is the interruption coming from?

For a test, does a computer / device that is hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

With this test, we are trying to isolate this down to being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system which would of course affect both. It's a good first step in troubleshooting before proceeding any further.

Thanks for reaching out to us, as customer myself I would not be happy if my services were not working as they should be. Our awesome Xfinity app https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/internet-connectivity-troubleshooting  is a great tool to troubleshoot your services when you're having connection issues. Our amazing chat assistant will walk you through some remote troubleshooting steps to see if the issue can be fixed remotely. If the issue cannot be fixed remotely our awesome chat assistant will connect you with a live agent that can set up a trouble call technician to come out and find and fix the issues.

Thanks for the steps you've tried in rebooting your modem, have you also tried any of the steps that @EG  mentioned?

Also have you tried using the Xfinity app to troubleshoot your services?
