WiFi Doorbell Unable to Connect to XB8 Gateway
My home Xfinity WiFi now uses an XB8 Gateway, but I am having issues connecting various smart home devices to this router. I am constantly receiving a "Connection Failed" message when trying to add these devices, currently a Wi-Fi Doorbell and Chime (eufy brand).
I read online in forums that separating the bands could work as this doorbell can only connect to 2.4Ghz Wifi bands, but this did not work. I have also tried disabling 5Ghz and 6Ghz bands and trying to connect the doorbell, but this also did not work.
Any advise on what else to try? I know the issue is with the XB8 because I have tried to connect the doorbell to Wifi at a friend's house as well as in my office and have had zero issues at all.

Good morning @nak28, and thanks for reaching out to us on the Xfinity Forums, I hope you are having a good Thursday! As someone that also has a video doorbell, I can understand the frustration of not being able to connect a device to the Wi-Fi, especially one that you use for home security. Separating the bands is usually the first step we recommend trying for these types of issues, so thank you for already trying that on your end. We can take a look at the modem on our end and see if there is anything in the modem that looks like it could be causing issues. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
