X2 Gigabit Only Connecting at 1 Gigabit

I recently upgraded to 2 gigabit service. I've tested the connection to the XFI router and can see i have the service up to the router but cant get it to my desktop computer. I'm running Cat7 cable, Realtek 2.5 gigabit network card. I was connecting a100/100 then i forced the driver to connect at 2.5 gigabit full duplex, but still only connect at 1000/1000. Speed test indicate this is actual. What am i missing?   I have see other post with the same issue, but not the fix. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @rongreen01WV, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum. Are you using a separate router from our modem? Which modem do you have from us? XB6? XB7? XB8?

Thanks for letting us know you are using only our device. Since you did the upgrade, has the XB8 been reset to update the bootfile to the higher speed?

That is correct there is nothing between the XB8 and the computer, its directly connected. As for the update, that i don't know.

rongreen01WV Can you unplug the device for 1 minute, then plug it back in for me? This will update the bootfile if it hasn't been done at this time?
