XB7 modem drops connection every hour.

My XB7 modem drops internet connection every hour. Not caused by outage. Bot assistant can’t help.

This has been happening to me all afternoon today as well, ever since about 12:10 PM PDT. Internet will cut out for 5-15 minutes, then it will restore itself. I have seen small outage reports in my area (Seattle metro) throughout the day but every time I go into the xfinity service center, they report no outages in my area. I have tried using the bot assistant to no avail and even unplugging my router for 20 seconds before plugging it back in to reset it has not resolved the issue. It's extremely frustrating that xfinity has provided zero support whatsoever on this issue either, to the point where it pretends it doesn't even exist. I don't know why I even bother sticking with this trash service...

   The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
