XB8 Modem

I have the XB8 modem and can’t connect my Blink doorbell. Talked with Blink support and was told I need to get xfinity to create a separate guest network withs 2.4Ghz. Is this possible with my modem? Can I do it myself?

Your second choice says that models up to XB6 can be changed but, nothing after that. I have Xb8.
Thanks for your help anyway.

The second linked article does outline how Xfinity gateways XB6 and newer can have their Wi-Fi bands split via our Xfinity app. Do you see those options available to you in the app?

Yes but, it told me to go to WiFi details and click on edit WiFi settings. Which I did. Then I was told to click on advanced settings and there is nothing like that there. Only the option to split bands. After I clicked on that it does show three different options 2, 5, & 6GHz with my WiFi name, password, & security mode option. I’m not sure where to go from there?
