xFi Pod Issue with iPhone 16 Connecting
Hello,
My pods won’t connect to my iPhone 16. It only connects to the gateway. If I’m in a blind spot where there’s no Wi-Fi signal, my phone doesn’t have any Wi-Fi, even though I’m right next to the pod.

Hello @aliabbasi88, thank you for creating a post within our community forums! Having slow connection when attempting to scroll through socials is quite the frustrating task, so I definitely understand your want for better coverage. Are you only experiencing this issue with the iPhone 16?
Did you know that you can see if the device is connected to your modem/gateway or Xfinity WiFi extender? Just head to the WiFi tab in the xfinity app, and scroll down until you see devices. Please let us know what you are seeing your iPhone connected to in the Xfinity app.

First, I recommend checking out this post:
https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/iphone-wont-automatically-reconnect-to-wifi-with-x-i-gateway/682e23be8b62963bf7e2b551?commentId=682eb1fe8b62963bf7ec542f
However, you mention being in a WiFi “blind spot” with your iPhone 16. Yet you also state that you’re “right next to the Pod.” If you’re in a WiFi dead spot, unless your Pod is connected to your gateway (I’m guessing XB8), then if your iPhone has no WiFi signal, neither does your Pod. Now, I’m not discounting the fact that your iPhone isn’t connecting to your Pod; rather attempting to clarify the setup.
Let me know what happens after you follow the steps I posted in that other thread. Good luck.
