Xfinity Advanced Security Question

Hello 

In my Xfinity app there is a feature called Advanced Security. When enabled its suppose to protect your devices from malicious threats. It can also have false positives and block something that shouldn't be blocked. Currently I have it enabled and there is a list of blocked threats that have been caught on some of my devices. Should I turn this feature off because I really don't know what its blocking or should I keep it on so that I can have protection? My internet works normal and I see no impact of any blocks however I'm not competent enough to make decisions about allowing or disallowing  these programs or sites to enter my system. So I appreciate some educated suggestions about whether I should keep this feature on or off
